Level Guidelines
Pole dancing levels and guidelines provide a safe, structured framework to build strength, prevent injury, and steadily progress students from beginner floor work to elite aerial tricks.
All of our content provided in our video library is levelled to assist students in choosing classes that are suitable for them. You can apply a filter in our video library to discover all the classes suited for your level!
It is important that students obtain the prerequisites from our level guide and any other specified prerequisites listed in our video descriptions and live class description on our booking system to ensure whether the class or content is suitable for them.

Unsure which level is suitable for you? Use this handy guide to help you!
COMPLETE BEGINNER: suitable for a complete beginner.
ALL LEVELS: suitable for all levels, some beginner level experience recommended.
IMPROVER: comfortable with climbs, seats, pirouettes and beginner spins.
INTERMEDIATE: comfortable with inverting, gemini and laybacks.
INTERMEDIATE (FLOORWORK): These classes may include complex floorwork techniques such as shoulder rolls, fish flops and shoulderstands, so you must be comfortable with shoulder rolls and grounded shoulderstands.
INTERMEDIATE (HEELS): These classes may include complex heel techniques such as glides, weight transfers & edgework so strong beginner heels foundations is required; i.e proficient in pirouettes, step arounds, beginner spins, twisted & split grip.
ADVANCED: working on your shouldermount, extended butterfly or dropped D & aerial invert.
ELITE: confident with aerial inverts, shouldermounts and ayesha’s (elbow, true or cup grip) These classes and tutorials can include moves that require advanced flexibility.
